David Gerhard is an Animation Director in Los Angeles, CA. He is currently developing content and strategies for 2D realtime animation. Recently he was a Creative Director in Nickelodeon’s development group known as the Artist Collective and formed an innovation based team known as Alternative Media.

David originally joined Nickelodeon as the Animation Director for the series Breadwinners.

David has worked on numerous animated series, commercials and pilots including Randy Cunningham: Ninth Grade Ninja and Motorcity for Disney XD, The Killer’s “Miss Atomic Bomb” music video, MAD, and The Ricky Gervais Show.  He has worked for Cartoon Network, Warner Bros, Titmouse, Six Point Harness as well as on projects for HBO, MTV, Comedy Central, etc.
