Being able to sync animation to a beat in realtime has a lot of fun potential. I made a few cycles (a hot dog, a fish, and some bacon dancing) and using the BPM function in Resolume, I’m able to switch between them and not lose the beat!

Over the last year or so I’ve gotten to make a LOT of puppets with Adobe Character Animator. I like to be able to dial them up quickly so that I can put them in a scene on the fly. Streamdeck is a great way to call up a new puppet with a click of a button!
Adobe reached out to various animators and designers in the community and worked with us to incorporate features into Adobe Animate CC that should make making things all that more fun. It's been an incredible collaboration and I get to glow about just some of the new features:
I've been invited to give an Adobe Max Session at the LA Convention Center on Monday, October 5th. The gist of the session will be highlighting animation for broadcast, working in Flash CS3, and some the vast improvements we're getting in Flash Professional CC. There's plenty of animation guides, books, and resources so I'll veer more into the specifics of Breadwinners. I'll touch on sound design, taking a CG model, vectorizing it and preparing it for production use, and some of our approaches to character design.
Adobe has been amazing in working with the Animation community to add functionality and features and it'll be great to show it off!
